Our Staff

Centre Manager

Our experienced Centre Manager is responsible for the overall running of the provision, and ensuring that high standards are maintained across teaching, learning support, health and safety,
and wellbeing. The Centre Manager is the first point of contact for parents and staff alike for information regarding policies and procedures, children’s progress, registration, and general centre
information.

The Centre Manager is trained in First Aid, Safeguarding, Risk Management, and core skills, knowledge and competencies for working with children in a childcare setting.

Teachers

Our qualified and experienced teachers and tutors deliver tailored and carefully planned lessons to ensure that children receive appropriate support to develop and improve their understanding and academic performance across a range of subjects.

Learning Assistants

Our Learning Assistants work closely with teaching staff to support children with learning, behaviour, social and academic development, and extra-curricular activities and events.

Learning Assistants attend regular, comprehensive in-house training and workshops; our training programme is designed to ensure that Learning Assistants have the relevant and up-to-date skills and knowledge to effectively support children in a childcare setting. The training covers key areas such as Child Development, Safeguarding, Learning and Behavioural Support, and Working with Children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

Recruitment and Induction

In accordance with Safeguarding and Safer Recruitment policies and procedures, DBS and background reference checks are undertaken for all staff and volunteers. All staff and volunteers are taken through a comprehensive induction process, which includes a safeguarding briefing and introductions to all organisational policies and procedures.
